  • Serval

    Serval are wild cats native to Africa. It is the sole member of the genus Leptailurus. The serval has the longest legs of any cat relative to its body size.

  • Genet

    Genet are often mistaken and called cats - they are not cats at all but are part of an order called Viverridae, related to mongooses and civet.

  • Otter

    There are 13 species of otters. Otters are aquatic carnivores, found on all continents, with the exception of the Antarctic and Australia.

  • Bushbaby

    Bush babies, also called galagos, are small, primates that spend most of their lives in trees. At least 20 species of galago are known, all galagos are considered nocturnal.

  • African Wild Cat

    African wildcats are small, fierce cats that live in forests, grasslands, and brush lands in Africa and the Middle East. They are the closest living relatives of the domestic cat.

  • Hyena

    Hyenas are so unique that they have a family all their own, Hyaenidae, which has four members: the striped hyena, the “giggly” spotted hyena, the brown hyena, and the aardwolf.
